Hi All,
So I have my new EBC front brake rotor and wanted to know if I can use philip stainless steel screws I found at the Sears hardware store.
They are the right size, but in stainless.
The front rotor has 8 screws and back 6.
I'm assuming this screw is strong enough...I couldn't imaging ever shearing them, but I could be wrong.
dinky,

I may have a few laying around somewhere...

So I take it, that it's OK to use those SS screws I can get at Sears hardware?
BTW, based on all those screws, I'm guessing you have a ton of other parts too :-D

I've never used any fasteners from Sears.
I guess it would depend on what type of SS they are as they vary from low grade cheap junk to very high quality grades.
Alex must know as he plays with some serious nuts and bolts.
I have several metric tons of parts laying around :-o

I ordered new OEM fastener's for mine. Not worth having problems for something as simple as screws. 'Course mine had boogered up heads too. Used might be fine too. :-D
