I don't know anything about these, are they based off KTM's?....the 300 2T's cylinder looks a bit KTM-ish.

Not based off of the KTMs. They are very good from what I have read about them. One of the bikes Im considering when new bike time comes. Whenever that is.

I thought sherco was using Yamaha engines.

All Sherco according to this;

they do appear to be well built, with some quality components.

David knight sure did not like them :?
The look like good bikes but good luck finding dealer support or parts. I have a beta 300rr and with the dealer only a hour and a half away it's hard to get some parts.

Have you guys seen the 2016 Sherco two strokes? They are now fuel injected (not direct injected) and use two injectors for oil and fuel.

The article seemed to be pretty high on the throttle response.

Hopefully they will win a few races and make the other manufactures take notice but I'm not going to hold my breath.
Thanks for that post..

If think if someone will break the seal on direct injection (cough, cough, Yamaha), I think all the factories will follow. People want two strokes we just need to make them "greener" so they are PC enough. Especially before the electric motorcycle takes over.

I think your spot on.
Eventually we will all be rewinding our motors and putting in matched batteries....
