Title: kawasaki kx 125 87 (cylinder engine)
Post by: diabolik1009 on November 19, 2012, 06:47:14 PM
Hi guys, I'm new to this forum and I want to participate in your discussions because I am passionate about bikes in general.
I write from Italy and I have a Kawasaki kx 125 1987, so I hope you can help me with problems that I can find in the future ...!
Currently I have to repair the cylinder, but I found another engine (in Italy) that is similar to mine, but it has the exhaust on the cylinder deflected to the right (instead mine is straight) .......... you .. you know what year is the engine that I have found?
Thanks to all..!!

the engine are looking at is  85/86, it wont fit your frame as the cradle will be in front of the exhaust port

jhonny500 hello, my engine is ok, but I have to redo the chrome cylinder (150 euro) + piston.
I wanted to try a cylinder used, but I found the entire engine, but it is different from mine (mine is 87), I would like to know if the pieces of the engine kx 85-86 (crankcase, crankshaft, gearbox) are equal to kx 87 or are different ...!
I wanted to buy this engine to get the parts, but only if they are equal to my .........!
thanks jhonny..!!
