*King*Kong*K*X*:
just got back from a ride.
i took all of you guys' advice, adjusted the kickstarter and kicked from the top of the stroke, and she fired up no problem.
thanks for all of your help. This is a great and helpful forum. I am a member of another forum and i really like that everyone is here to help and not bash on people.

a trick i like ta use to get my bike started is to pop it into second gear and
rock it back-n- forth to get a lil fuel into it.
give it a try
iamsofaking:
the bastard is right. Do that.
*King*Kong*K*X*:
I put it in first and rock it a few times, and now i put it at the top of the stroke and kick.
Thanks for the suggestion though guys. That was the first topic in this forum I read, was the tricks everyone has for starting.
I think where i was going wrong was, i was getting to the top of the stroke, then kicked it until it clicked down once and kicked it from there. I had seen that on youtube, and let me tell you that is WRONG.
So a hearty thanks again to all of you fine kxriders for helping out this noob.
