jinxy:
hi guys havent posted for a while have finerly got some pics of my
1984 Kx 250, i dont get much of a chance to ride it as iits hard to find
places to do it over here in england, havent started the bike for 9 months,
so i througth i would drag it out of the shed for a dust down, and took a couple
of pics. i put some new fuel in and hey presto its starts secound kick
not bad for a olden of 27 years.
i am thinking of selling as i dont get much use, or i may tear down and fully restore
to factory issue, rebiuld the wheels, new plastic and paint ect ect.
so here are the pics

still need to do a bit more cleaning as it was very dusty last time i rode it

Friar-Tuck:
Hey Jinxy,
Your bike looks excellent for an unrestored '84.  Finding restoration parts I think would be a real Challenge, but I think alot of guys enjoy the "Hunt" as much as putting the bike back together.
Thanks for posting the Pic's it's not everyday you come across an '84 250!

this site is good for plastic kits:

http://nightmare-racing.com/new_page_5.htm

it says there is an 83 kit, dont worry cause 84 is the same  :-D

are there any parts you are looking for?

jinxy:
i have rebuilt the engine, powder coated the frame, and lots of otherthings when i got the bike back
in 1992, engine still sound sweet no rattles or knocks, yea i know about knightmare if i keep it,
i will be in contact with them, its still fast for its age still wheelies in all the gears, great fun.
i never got the shrouds with the bike, i am looking for some, i think they make the bike
along with the original style rear mud gaurd, not many of these bike left now.
i have ridden it on a full mx track, it just loves the big jumps, i may race it here, we have a pre 85 section
that why i got the bike i  the first place.
thanks for the coments guys, my next outting i will video

Sweet machine!  I had a '84 250, I sold it to a midget car racer back in the early '90s. He said they liked those water cooled non power valve engines. :?
