Motorrad:
Looks like I will be around Pikes peak   right durring the race day...    That will be fun to watch..

Motorrad:
here is a packing thing for ya danger.

air filters..   hate dealing with them on the road. (clean/oil)   so I carry extras, as they pack down well...   (also picky about what brand filter, and oil I use... yea, I know.. me picky?)

Pre-oiled,  and greased.    just drop in a paper towel, roll up. and stuff in ziplock bag, stand on it to get air out... whala.. (double bag them!!   learned that the hard way once)

Danger4u2:
Excellent idea.  Other than street bikes I haven't gone on any cross country rides so air filters haven't been a problem.  Back when we went to the dunes all the time I used this setup for my quad.  I always had the convenience of a enclosed trailer to work on the bikes/quads.

When washing this keeps the crud from getting inside.

Most of the DualSport crowd I ride with are good about keeping air filters cleaned.
But NONE of them think about filtering the air THEY breathe.  I can get a new bike if I don't keep the air filter clean, lungs are a bit harder to acquire.  I always carry with me, 3M N95 Particulate Respirators part # 8511 , even on my street bike.  Most times I'm ride leader with my group.  Not that I'm the best at leading, I run dual GPS units.  Zumo550 and 76CSx both Garmin products.  Like NASCAR if your rider leader you breath clean air.  I'm not the fastest rider and no one wants to be in the back all the time, so we swap positions. I just tell the new guy to just stop at the next intersection.

Your not the only one who doesnt like to choke down dust Danger. I found a product review over on Banned for a wolfsnout, looks like it'd be alot better than a particle mask.

Aint used one but it has great reviews

Danger4u2:
This is what I carry in the Camel Bac.
Titanium wrenches and yes I got the optional 13mm in case I get a new dream bike.

I'm hoping the aftermarket will come up with a gas tank with some range.

Looks like T minus 9 days, like being a little kid waiting on Christmas.
