81cr450:
Where we going---don't know don't care.
How long will be gone---don't know don't care.
How many miles a day ??--don't know, don't care.
What's our daily destinations---don't know, don't care.
When will we coming thru--wherever ??----don't know, don't care.
A very good plan !!!!
 And that is what makes it a true get away , actual FREEDOM

That is an excellent plan there. I've ridden almost all of the Tour of Idaho to Elk City. Very familiar with it and I'd probably jump in around North Utah.
ID KX500:
That route runs through 81cr450's riding trails in Utah.
I have a Spot Connect it is the one with texting through the phone via bluetooth, it's works,,, or rent a satellite phone. You will be out of cell phone range a lot on I'm sure.

Yes he has already PM'ed me.. LOL.. (havnt responded yet, Im bad at PMs).. If he reads this... Yes.. you can catch us on the trail. continue conversation in here please.. Im more likely to respond. (easyer on a phone at work than PM's)
How rough is the Tour of Idaho? some say its hard. some say its easy.
From what I see. (the parts Ill be doing). It looks like a slice of cake. (assuming I skip Massacre mountain :-o )
Rest looks like what I call "SUV" roads.
and my other question. Idaho snow pack on that trail... ??
when I put a date of June 4... that is our (be ready date).. from there Im watching the pass's in colorado.. Im guessing it will be closer to June when I roll out. but if Idaho snow alows me to leave early, since Im not doing the pass's in colorado till after I rode up (say 3 weeks).. well you get the idea...
