crank seals which way in

 Which way do I install the crank seals in my 95 KX60? Wire spring out or wire spring in towards crank. I'm guessing wire seal goes toward oil in the Tranny but what about the flywheel side?

pretty sure the side where the spring sits goes towards the crank, if I am wrong I am sure someone will correct me :-)
