Nate- I also live in the Pac NW and have been running the michelin S12 in the rear of my KX5 and I think it has worked great. It held up very well in all conditions. Last year I ran one all season ( April - October) and put over 600 miles , documented  by the odometer. This includes riding the Desert 100  and Idaho City Qualifier. I was suprised with no major chunking of these tires. IMHO, good tire!

Haven't tried the Millville front 'cause I'm having to good-a-luck with IRC VE-32s.
