KX60 HELP! In need of rebuild!

Actually, I polished the rims but the spokes have a ton of corrosion. The rear fender is new and the radiator guard is new. The frame needs touch up paint but I cant find kawasaki touch up paint anywhere for cheap and not $40. Tuck and me have been talking and moving the needle clip up and down and we went to 4 but it was better at 3 so its at 3 now. We got it to idle but it has a throttle problem.  Tuck knows the name of it. We think its the pilot jet.

Friar-Tuck:
Yes we seem to have run out of tuning options.
I could try manipulate the fuel level, but the right thing to do is get a larger pilot.
We have, from what I gather is a "hanging idle".  that would tell me we need more fuel.
When we drop the clip further (enriching the mix) the bike becomes harder to start, and runs worse...
So I guess if CM can swing it it's time for some brass..I would start with the next size up see how she reacts

I have used these guys before with no problems

My ktm has a similar problem too so both my bikes I think I should just take to a shop or something and get the carbs tuned...Thats all both of them need just a cheap tuneup for the carbs...

you should really learn at some point, tuning is weather dependent.... but then again i tend to run my bike all year round

chris-mets:
But I dont want to just buy a 6 dollar jet then pay for 8 dollar shipping too for something that might not work...Also when I was sleeping the other day I thought about if someone made clear metal dirt bike casing and special light clear oil, gas, and antifreeze! Just enough so you can see the fluids but still see the crank and everything inside! Just givin some ideas!
