KX60 HELP! In need of rebuild!
chris-mets:
Ok guys here is where I am. I could not get the bearing or seal off of the case where the shaft goes. It would not come out without a press. So I put the new crankshaft(was fairly very easy with light taps of a rubber mallet) in the case and am trying to get the other bearing on the shaft. I got in on halfway but Its really hard and I think it isnt moving anymore. I tried wd40 to slide it on more and it wouldnt work. This is the only thing stopping me. I got the yamabond in the mail and I got the torque wrench from my friend. Thanks.
Motorrad:
Dont knock The crank out of true withthat hammer of yours.. It's VERY easy to do..
If you used the proper heat and cold method, everythign should have just fallen on...
The main bearing would have fallen out with the same method... You may regret not changing that crank seal...
1989kawasaki:
why dont you use your crank installer?
Motorrad:
Been quiet in here.. What's going on?
chris-mets:
The motor is at my friends house and his dad is taking it to TKO shop to get the bearings pressed in and out. He is taking very long. I am getting very scared that when I put it all back together and I try to kick it something will go wrong
