It will take me a little while to get the K5 up I think so it likley won't be a go until next season. In the meantime, my 250 and 450 will have to do. I actually have a 99 250 chassis and was thinking about putting a 500 motor in there. I just don't want to break a complete K5 to do it though. What year K5 do you have and what are you doing to it?

I had the bike all 100% together and finished "restoring" etc... its a 1991 ex team green bike (was one of jeff wards)... 2008 Kx450 front end, etc etc..
Had it out on thanksgiving, and unfortunatly the motor let go after only 2gal of fuel... (small end bearing)..
So going through the motor... and making some improvements along the way as well...
Get a few more posts, and a "engine modifications" section will show up you can get into... that has many interesting motor builds in there... (including the one im doing right now)..
Poke around enough.. you can find some good info on this site... and even better people..
this was thanksgiving at plaster city... before the 2gal of fuel..

Nice, I like the seat - very 80's. Hey what tank/shroud combo are you using? I've seen it before and like the updated look.

It is a Zip-Ty tank, and pipe... shrouds are 2000 Kx250 (so is rear fender)

I like it, but couldn't find the tank or pipe listed on the site. I'm sure it's still in production isn't it?
