I bought my son a 1985 KX80 Small whell for christmas, having never rode a Motorbike before, I had a go myself and have now gone out and bought myself a 1996 KX100. Once I am a bit more competant I will be looking at a 250cc I think.

Welcome
those old kx80`s are a blast. really mushy bottom end, good for putting around not going really fast, then after hitting a certain rpm the powerband hits like a ton of bricks

Welcome to KXRiders and the wonderful world of dirt!
It's hard to explain to folks who have never ridden before what good therapy it is to get out with the kids and ride.
snoop around a bit for either a riding school or a few instructional offroad riding dvd's. These can save you years of hard knock type learning as you go.
Thanks for signing in and let the good times roll! :-D
