Beginning track..
Swe_K5_89:
In the beginning it's more about be able to drive a number of laps. Not to chose the ideal line. Go out there and have fun. Thats the most important in the beginning. Then you could start to think about where to improve.. :-)
BDI:
Make sure you clear the jumps would be my best advice.

My best advice is learn where the fast line is, and stay off it in the beginning, It will keep you safe. start your jumping with table tops, and jump further, and further till you can clear it.

listen to your body.....for example, when you lose feeling in your hands...dont try to "wing it " on that last jump....youll probably land hard and have no throttle control causing you to twist it wide open on the landing. been there in my early track riding days.
And when you get faster and begin to clear jumps and maybe pass a couple of other guys....dont get a BIG HEAD.....you're still not as fast as you think you are.....one hard crash lasts only seconds...the aftermath could put you out for a season or even for the rest of your life....work up to it being smart along the way....have fun learning MX. Being pressured into doing things on a track usualy ends up bad.
Godspeed dude !!
