KX250F / KX500 CONVERSION. WHERE TO GET A PIPE?

(1/3) > >>

I called Service Honda today and they have the pipe available but unless you have one of their bikes you can't order it.
I didn't ask but I'm sure they would require some sort of ID number from the bike  :-(
I know a few members here make the pipes but does anyone know how to get their hands on a Service Honda pipe?
Thanks!

merry christmas everyone. sand blaster, take a look at this thread its one i started. from what i can gather the s/h af pipe is just a cr 500 fmf gold series gnarly with a kx header on it. to fit my pipe i had an adaptor tube made to fit my dep sport cr500 pipe (no cuting/welding) but this is experimental. i say just buy a cr500 pipe and have a header made and welded on. it will be cheaper and easier that dealing with s/h

I would contact AJ Waggoner, he has been on here many times and has stated that he would sell us pipes, I have purchased one myself with no problems. AJ is the guy behind the AF conversions, talk to him.

If you have the capability, Jonny is right, the pipe is nothing more than a CR500 pipe with a KX manifold. I modded a Pro Circuit CR500 pipe for one of my conversions.

Thanks for the info.
I have sent AJ an email so we'll see what he says.
If it's a problem I'll dig through my inventory and see what I can come up with for a C5 pipe
Thanks again!

Jfab makes a badass looking pipe. Personally  I think it looks better than the service Honda one and you can access the flywheel without removing the pipe like the Honda one. It fits the kx way better and looks like a way more natural fit. Plus its made for a kx not a CR. I would go with jfab
