almost same question :
using a 2008 kxf250 rolling chassis and airbox fitting a 2003 kx250 motor , any ideas what boot to use , im due the frame rails from jerry soon when welded in the next quest is the correct boot to use , would realy like some help on this one cheers guys

When I built mine, I was told the 2000 CR250 boot was the one to use. So I did, but you have to make an aluminium adaptor ring to connect it to the kxf450 box. It does work fine, but I have since read that a KX250 boot does the job aswell.

If anybody wants one I have a spare CR airbox and boot, but I'm in the UK.

hi mitch , think ill plumb for the kx250 boot and the kxf250 box , the boots quite cheap for the kx250 so ill have a go with that !

I used a 99 KX250 boot.  Just what I had laying around the shop. Worked great with a little adapting to the airbox.
