250 shock question

Will the shock out of a 2003 Kx 250 fit in a 2008 Kx250f. I am building an AF from the ground up and can get the two stroke shock cheaper.

i dont think so i had a 2003 kx250 and have a 2007 kxf 250 they look different fromwhat i can remember , best way check with an ohlins dealer if you get stuck ill ask my local ohlins chap in uk

kind of another weird question but does anybody know if the 2006-08 kx450f tank will fit the same years 250f? I want to put an over sized tank in my AF and would like to get a 3.1 450 tank but i need to know if it will slide into the frame. Any help is appreciate.

Hello.
According to the book, it will fit the following:
2006  KX 450F
2007  KX 450F
2008  KX450DF
It may bolt up with the 250F but I have never tried.

Most of the kxf parts are interchangeable and if the shock fits the kx450 it will fit the kx250f just might not be sprung right. Browse ebay they have a great selection and alot of the kx/kxf parts run the same price besides complete frames.
