Hey, I have finally found the best forum ever haha. I live for anything and everything kawasaki. I have a 2008 KX250F, 2001 KX250, and KLX110 stock/mod. I cant wait to pick up a K5 and throw a supermoto set up on it. I live in Scottsdale Arizona and I am always looking for new people and places to ride. PM me if you want to ride sometime. I do a lot of riding in the four peaks and sycamore creek area. I love everything from wide open fire roads to tight singletrack. Looking forward to chattin it up on the forum. Thanks

Welcome to the site.
I ride the payson area from time to time.

Any personal knowledge on what it takes to get a street plate on a bike. I have a supermoto setup on my k5 and just need to go get one.

I got my KLX300 street legal pretty easily.  What you need in AZ is a headlight, a horn, a brake light, a mirror and a licence plate light.  I put a bicycle bell as my horn.  The horn has to be able to be heard 200 feet away.  I put a hydraulic brake switch in my rear master cylinder and change the bub holder in the tail light to a tail light/brake light combo.  I live in Tucson and did not have to smog the bike,  All I had to do it go the the MVD and fill out a form stating that I had complied to all the rules to get it street legal.  I also had to show proof of insurance.  I have never been stopped by a cop they see a lot of street legal bike and quads around here.  My Raptor is street legal too.

Welcome Kaw4Lfe,
Glad you found the Real Team Green!  :-D
All kidding aside, this has been the best place for me to learn & share what I have been able to pick up the last five years or so.  This is a great bunch of guys to hang out with, please feel free to jump on in!
