2-Stroke engine oil?

I was not pushing yamalube but I did use it for years. I use K2 now, One of my biggest problems with ams-oil is all the BS snake oil sales tacktics surrounding it. The guy ran his bike at 40:1.

You know the more I think about this It was ten years ago when the only place you could get ams oil was from the crazy old coot that kept it out back in his shed. They may actually sell a good product now. I'm sure they are makeing good money now that you can buy it in stores. I have always felt that ams oil products were not any better then anyone elses just that they were more honest about how long oil is good for.

I use Klotz 40:1 Dropped down to 32:1 for a while to see if any better wear. Same wear, too much Spooge.....

dont know if you can get rock oil in the states , used it since 88 never had any problems at all use synthetic 2t from them and gro in the gearbox , aledgedley supplied to vw golf owners for the gearbox !!

Motul 2T oil in the mix at 42:1 on both Kawis. Heck, on my chainsaw/hedger/weedslicer as well. Great stuff, and I fill every 2T device from the same cans. Keeps the mix fresh :wink:
The clutch rides in Rotella on both the KX and the KDX. Might try that synthetic trick to clean off the AL and fiber waste from the clutches every few fills.
