CR brake line for kx?
Hman636:
anyone try the cr brake line kit on their kx? my front brakes cant stop my bike. i put new pads and rotor but still the same
BDI:
The problem is probably not your break line but the cr Kit is an improvement. Do to it's shorter length there is less hose to expand and should give a small improvement in lever feel. The biggest improvement is the routing of the cable. Your problem is probably the barkes need to be bleed out proper and good oil put in.
Hman636:
I put new pads on. and new fluid. i have a power bleeder and it help a little but i can still pull the lever to the bars and wont stop. ill slow down but thats it.
BDI:
I have never had good luck with a power bleeder on motorcycles. pump three time and hold then crack the bleader and let the lever squeez to the handle bars then close bleeder, repeat until you get all the air out and have a good lever. If this don't work then you may wan't to look at rebuilding the master cylinder and make sure you check the bore for scaring. I also like to take the caliper off and turn it up side down or disasemble it to make sure you get all the water and bad oil out of it. They can act like a pee trap bleeding may not get all the crap out.

Even after proper bleeding I still think KX brakes suck. Try a honda master cylinder.
