What fuel oil ratiois best.

mustangfury:
I personally feel more oil is better. I run 32:1 with h1r on my kx125.  I have thought about running less, but I would rather spend a little more on oil and less on rebuilds.

This is a short post about choosing your mix ratio:

This is an interesting article that discusses whether to use more or less oil:

Coop:
In my KX125 and my nephew's CR80 Expert I run Yamalube 2R at 32:1. I have jetted both bikes to run great at this mix. Well almost on the CR. The throttle response is great throughout the range but still some splooge out of the silencer. The plug looks good, it runs great, and it doesn't foul plugs so I haven't messed with it after the last re-jet.

I used to run Bel-Ray at 40:1 in my KX250, but I sold that bike years ago and now like 32:1 in my small bores.

diesel:
I've had good luck with Lucas semi-synthetic two-stroke oil at 32:1 in my TRX250R's.  I mix it at 40:1 for the weedeater and chainsaw.  Not sure which mix I should feed my son's soon-to-be-finished KX60.  I see there's a pdf on this site that shows Team Green ran 40:1 in their KX60's.
