fenders and such,im still lokking for a nice pair of shrouds for my 84 KX 250
still they are good bikes and getting rare now.  26 years young

DC plastics makes reproductions and a full set of plastics is somethin crazy like $250 plus shipping

Nightmare Racing also makes very nice reproduction plastics for the 84 KX.

If they don't make pistons for it/other parts, are there new aftermarket parts that can be used as replacements for the old original parts anyone knows of?  Can any of the pistons out of some of the newer kx250s be used in the cylinder from that year?  I would hate to see my friend buy a bike to fix it if you can't get parts to actually fix it.  Your thoughts will be most appreciated. is it even a good idea to buy a bike that old?  he's only looking for something to ride through the trails in his woods and on his farm.



Thanksyou will have to look out on ebay for the 84 KX250 parts, they will turn up eventually
