Brand Old KX Rider

Goat:
The frame/plastics are a 92 K5 with 87 forks and swing arm. Why people change to the old style I have no idea. Bike runs good though and handles ok. Here is his first ride on the K5 lol

Swapped the smashed PC out for the factory pipe. Runs smoother now. Still needs cab adjustment. I'll get to it today or tomorrow. Will be ready for Wed.

I'm sure there is someone closer who can fix her up.  Going for about $225 or so it's worth it spend $60 + shipping to save!
   You could take the money you save and pick up a used chest protector and a pair of goggles and gloves!  :wink:
Trust me... they're worth it.. it's like backing up your hard drive.. you think it's a waste, until the crash...(Dohh!)  :-)

Goat:
Got the carb torn apart. It wouldn't idle Sat. It has a d**n PJ carb on it. The choke/idle adjuster plunger is broke in half. Not sure if we should get a new choke plunger for the pj or get a needle and choke for the spare pwk I just got off ebay last week.

He needs a full padded body suit LOL. He will never live breaking his a$$ on the first real ride :P

I think the factory pipe is good enough for him at the moment. I think I want to try the fmf gnarly on my bike so he can use my pc when he is ready.

  If you want to make some sort of a deal I'm wide open. I do know there is another guy looking for a carb that also has afew parts but no whole assembly. Let me gat back to you and see if Crazy Old B. has gotten anything yet.
