There are some very knowledgeable guys who hang out here and have been a great help to myself and others.
Just like car or truck, troubleshooting a no start condition for me is the pits... I have a hard time sticking to a plan and get sidetracked way to easy... I'll try to post some links to stuff like setting the float height and stock jetting etc.
The best thing I did was get a Factory Service Manual and the Clymer to go with it. You can usually find used copies of both. New ones will run about $100.00 for all of them.   There are some downloadable ones or on CD alot cheaper.

thanks for the links. the first thing I did after I got the bike was order the clymer manual for it. I've learned it's always good to have a manual for whatever your working on.

thanks, I hope it's not low compression because it's suppose to have a new top end.  :-( I need to get a compression tester and check.
