Purgatory
(1/1)
KXcam22:
It's interresting what you find when your explore new trails. Went to a new area on friday with a couple of friends. Lots of cool trails and then we found this one hill. The further we climbed the worse it got. It was steep and ugly, rocks, rock faces, fallen log step-ups, roots perfectly spaced to mess you up the most, then a peat bog full of roots in the middle with water cascading down the main trail followed by a staircase of wet solid rock. I must have stalled the 450 12 times or more, had to rest twice, while listening to the rad bubble and trying to catch my breath, still my pounding heart and squeeze some nonexistent drops out my already empty camelback. When I finally get to the top of this "thing" there is a painted sign naming it "PURGATORY".....but you were supposed to go DOWN.
Hmmm. Cam.

Awesome.
I live in Calgary, but have doen lost of riding around Vernon.
Maybe we can hook up for a few days of riding next summer, if your looking for a riding partner around Kamloops.
I looked at your photo's and would love to ride some new ground!

Those kind of rides are some of the best ...Memories!
Maybe yourself, Jerry or Larry could rig you up a Comp. Rel. for the 450. I know my kids '02 is real buggar. (And I've already adjusted down the OEM Comp Rel as far as poss.)
It's such a short throw I doubt I can get 2 revolutions out of the thing when I bring it up to TDC and Jump down on it..... :x
