k5for-life:
hey guys im looking to sumo my k5 but i dont want to have to buy new rims for dirt so how would a sumo work for hard pack dirt and a little loam

there,s an 21 inch sumotyre on the market,
its cut like a raintyre ,
for the rear you can get a 18 inch roadtyre fitting on a 3,75 J rim
then you can go on and offroad for a cheap
sumo for hardpack will work ,but grip will be everything

Just get a pair of 17 in knobbies. My buddy with a DRZ400SM has had pretty good luck riding with us off road. They make it look like an old Yamaha Big Wheel. Sorry I don't have a bigger picture. If I recall correctly, he is running 2 rear tires. I dont think there is a dedicated 17 in front knobby available. But it seems to handle decent anyways.

danger4u2 uses 17 inch knobbies too ,on his offroadk5
i dont know if he has a front 17 knobbie tho...?
