Did you have mod the service honda pipe at all???
I have a FMF CR500 pipe on my 1998 KX250 with a KX500 engine in it and the front tire rubs the pipe a little.

The Flyin Hawaiian:
No mods except for a very slight clearancing(dent) where the coolant line is on the right side of the cylinder.
