1991 kx125 jetting

(1/4) > >>

Jopiz:
I was wondering what jetting do you guys use? I have no idea what main jet i should try with my 1991 kx125. It now starts to bog at 11k. I currently have 162 jet and pro circuit pipe installed. I noticed that some jets had differences even tough they were identical? Does anyone know where to get good jets to 35 PWK?   :-P

Hillclimb#42:
Pro circuit doesn't show the 91. "92 says 162, but '90 says 158. Clip on the 2nd position, 1 1/2 turns out. You gotta be close.

GDubb:
Is it Sudco.com? I think that where some of these guys go for jetting stuff but never gone there myself.

Here's The link to the Pro Circuit Jetting chart  for your perusal.

And here's some help on jetting basic stuff.  There's a few variables to consider as I'm sure you know, however hang in there.
The differences you are seeing in the "Same" jets are usually a quality control thing.  I may suggest staying with keihin jets as they will be alot more consistant.
(they have the drunken star stamped on the side)

Sudco has parts lists and such.  Last time I ordered I was told they were going to a "minimum" order on jets and needles etc. you may want to call before you place an order as not to be surprised when you get the bill.
Snoop around their catalog (its a big file) there is lots of goodies avail.

I still cant see jetting chart for my 1991. It shows 1990 and 1992.
I found out that my local dealer seems to sell proper keihin jets. Is that "the drunken star" in the picture?

Picture is just an example.
It would be nice to see the chart for '91. I think i now got a good reference point and it seems that my jetting might be close to right. I just need to get good quality jets.:-P
Thanks for your help.
