2009 Service Kawasaki KX500AF
AJ:
Thanks all,
don46
its more difficult now.
We went to this chassis, mostly due to liking the new 09 KX250F chassis improvements/handling.(The 09 250F is all new this year)
i've been doing the very good ,solid, 450 kaw chassis a couple years now,and its unchanged really)
and yes partially due to availibilty.
and in some small way ,also to the ease of selling the take out engines.
a lot more market for 250F engines than 450F engines..
so that makes the project more doable.
( i have to commit to an awful lot of new units from kaw, (or honda) for a year,,long before i know anything how they will go with the public )
The fact the kx250F all new in design and look in 09 ,as well as 250F class handling , is the biggest reason to switch though for sure..
try to keep these great engines in the lastest chassis design that i can..
:)
Good:

AJ,
Brother that looks great, The craftsmanship is excellent. I hope the guys who can afford your bikes appreciate what goes into them.
Maybe S.H. should start you a school to pass on the the trade.
When are you guys gonna make a Waggoner/Rouse Special Edition? You could market it as the AC Cobra of Offroad Motorcycles! 8-)
Thanks for sharing your stuff with us, there are only a handfull of guys who actually build these kind of projects on par with you and the rest of
us can only dream about it.
Pax Christi,
Tuck\o/
