I always wear my motocross boots when I get near the beast or any other 2 stroke.  As for my Suzukis, they are all street bikes so the KX doesn't pay any attention to them.  My first bike was a QA50, but that was a long, long time ago.  This is actually my first Kawasaki but the wife has a Vulcan 800.  Thanks for the welcomes, and jfab, welcome and I hope you enjoy this site as much as I do.  Dan

Here are a few pics of my 5hundie.  This is what it looked like when I got it except for the pro taper bars and the barkbusters.  Not a bad buy for $900, right?
