WW Zuigt MAN!!!
I haven't made any measurements of a tank.
My idea is to measure from the model you want:
The lenght from footpegs to steeringhead, seat height,al the places that make the newer model different by feel.
NOT only looks like JJ motor. I put my RMZ/KXF250 seat on mu uncle's K5 once. Just to see how it would be different
than stock. Than just tape the new shrouds on to feel and see how it looks.
If you have placed it and have the right position. Then "just" fill the gaps up with fueltank.
Have you desidid what look/model you want Menno?????
This pic is a rough idea what to measure.

Dutch-K5 Fan:
If I wure you Menno I would not take the 99 kx250 shrouds.
On the tank they are 2 piece. It's a probleme on the Jadoul tank. On the stock KX tank the shrouds
are sunk into the tank, Jadoul's not realy. The shrouds rub into the jadoul tank, especially with MX and gets busted.
I Would use the KX125/250 from 03 and on, or KXF. They cover the whole tank.
If you start from scratch you also have to make a nipple for tankcap!!!!!!!!
