throttle sticking again

stock throttle (i think, bought the bike used)
i got the cable at a kawi dealer in freeport, il and it seems to be the same as the one that was on there.
I believe the spring is sitting good, the part that screws in to hold the needle in place is notched and there is a plastic ring that goes in the end of the spring that has a stub on the inside of it that fits into the notch when rotated correctly.
throttle spins freely w/ no cable
throttle goes open easily and closes it self pretty quickly w/ the spring.

hey i had this problem on my k5 it was the cable on the end it goes into the carb the cable end would pull out when you turned the throttle and sit over the metal adjuster that screws into your carb which pulled the cable tight i taped my cable so it wouldnt pull out, cheers. :evil:
