would be better worded as actively forming dunes. i would also consider migrating dunes active too. 10,500 acres is hardly HUGE, its a little bigger than dumont. dunes like little sahara, UT 60,000 acres are BIG but HUGE should be something like glamis 150,000 acres. i looked at dune guide it states nothing about using a GPS to navigate the dunes. they do give GPS coordinates to find the dunes. link to dune guide/ killpecker

I live 80 miles south of st anthony. Grew up riding there. Started on a Husky 250 MAG. I need a break from work, would like to come up and meet you, and try out the new top end on my KX500. Maybe make a run to choke cherry. If you don't mind email me at 2cjpolatis@gmail.com

Thanks for coming up to meet us Chris! ID KX500

We Just rode for 2 1/2 days at St. Anthony's and I got to tell you guys Glamis aint got nothing on St Anthony dunes! They reminded me of being back in the Alps in Europe! They are so tall you can't take any picture and get feel for their size! They are also a bit scary because most of the bowls have lava at the bottom. You don't want to do any blind jumping into or over anything unless you have looked first!

Just a few pic's for now...............

Next on to Oregon!

Alan :-D

Nice meeting you and Barb. Hope you enjoyed Idaho. I love it for the diverse dirt biking, sand, desert, and mountains. I'm headed to my favorite high mountain lake Sunday. Have fun in Oregon. Love the pictures.  ID KX500
