hello everyone, im new to the forum and new to riding. Im also new to working on a bike so you will probably see alot of questions regarding maintanence and repair. i just got an 01 kx 125 and am having fun trying to learn how to balance, brake, work the clutch, shift gears, etc. , all the fundamentals of riding. this is my first motored dirt bike, i used to have a bmx bike but dont anymore.  i live is south beloit, (northern illinois) and am 31 yrs old.  I dont plan on racing or a career, just out to have some fun.

welcome!!!  I used to have a 99' kx 125 and i really enjoyed it, have fun and ride safe!

 Welcome to the site and enjoy your bike. There are a lot of very informed people that post on this site, you should be able to learn how to ride, how to maintain and how to repair the bike from them.
  And remember four KX125 engines are the size of a KX500 engine.
