questions about kx 250 engine 05-07

Technically I experienced a huge drop in power..but thats becuase my last engine was bored, ported, and had all the bolt ons but stock for stock this engine has alot more meat midrange and up top and its a whole lot smoother everywhere.

Is the stator from a 2004 engine the same with the 05-07 engine? Will it fit in the engine?
