ShanMan:
OK gang...as many of you know, I have had ole' KreX on the sales block for the two months or so. The original plan was to pick up a 2000 or newer KX5. Somewhere along the way however I started reading about the only other true big bore, the CR500. I did lots and lots of homework, and deduced that both bikes have their strengths and weaknesses. I took into consideration that I was going to be spending more time either singletracking or vet-tracking than I would be desert blitzing. So, when a good deal came up on a '98 CR500 with lots of goodies, I took it. <insert name calling here> I am still a huge fan of the KX500, and LOVE all the things it does better than any other bike. That said, I really, really like the way the CR500 handles. In a perfect work, I would have kept KreX as my exclusive dune bike, but money just isn't that plentiful, so I had to choose. I plan to lurk here, because this is still one of my favorite sites on the web, and occasionally there is still something I can offer. Sorry I left the fold (for now) but maybe we can still ride together if the opportunity ever arises?  :)

Paul:
Bring it to Glamis big boy

ShanMan:
Dontcha worry about that one fella...I will be there for sure! Of course, I still WON'T try the Olds Double....sorry mang!  :|

Paul:
But why not? Thats a motocrosser right   It should be able to handle a little jump like that MUCH better than these ol' dez sledz

Eitherway, the point is to have a good time no matter what you ride  :)

ShanMan:
OK , try and bait me all you want.    But you and I know it ain't the rig, but the rigger. I am not ready for 100 feet of airtime fun just yet. Soon I would hope, but who knows. How about I just watch you do it.    8)
