kxpegger:
21 years retired Navy. First 5 years as a Jet Engine Mechanic and 16 as an Aviation Electronics Tech specializing in calibration.
Since retirement worked at Solar Turbines (industrial gas turbines up tp 30,000 shaft horsepower) at the Kearny Mesa plant in San Diego as a Controls/Instrumentation Tech in the calibration lab. Moved to Las Vegas with my now ex-wife for her job promotion. Worked for Scenic Airlines out of North Las Vegas as a mechanic as I hold an FAA Airframe and Powerplant license too. The last 8 years I've worked as the Senior Controls System Technician at the Clark County Water Reclamation District in Las Vegas.
I've done some other things too like oil field construction and boat engine installer but I ain't writing a resume here.
That's a picture of my standby truck in the driveway.

I am a synthetic organic chemist. I am currently working on an MBA so I can get out of the lab (It can be a very dangerous place) and maybe get out of the chemical industry. Too many minor fires and explosions/implosions for my taste.
