 Hello everyone.

 I stumbled across this site last night and have been reading through for hours. I had to join seeing as how I bleed Green.

 I'm 35 and have been riding since I was about 10, though mostly on 3-wheelers. I raced organized flattrack events back in the mid-80's on ATC 250Rs, Tecates, and Tri-Zs before finally getting my first bike in 1986(a new RM250), though I had wanted a dirt bike as far back as 1980.

 Racing Mustangs stole the dirt riding passion for a number of years, but I ended up buying a new '93 WR500 in 1994(sold it in '95) and have spent years buying/saving from the scrap yard many, many 3-wheelers. I ended up with a CR480 a couple of months ago which rekindled my love for bikes, sold it and bought a '92 KX250 which I intend to hang on to. Two of my five boys ride bikes and are wanting to race this year, so I plan to get my butt out there with them to make it a family thing. What can I say, the love of competition is in their blood:)

What up.....    nice looking bike.  250's are allot of fun.  Nice tohave your kids into it with you.  Looking forward to hearing some stories and sharing some tech info...

 My boys were the biggest factor in getting me back onto two wheels after a 13 year absence. I was building an '85 Tecate for flattracking last year and found myself riding their bikes(PW80, RM80, and TTR125) instead of working on mine.

 I live just 3 miles from Little Powersports(Pro quad racers Keith and Greg Little's MX track) and figured I'd have an easier time getting in the gate on 2-wheels than I would on a 3-wheeler at other local speedways. Though my 2-wheel skills are nowhere near my 3-wheeler skills nowadays, it's starting to come back to me.

 Only downside I see is having to ride the tight, rutted out trails the golf carts(quads) have made around here, but I'm going to make a few new ones.
 Upside is the KX gets a lot of attention around the local ride spot since there are 100(heavy, rack laden, slow) quads-to-1 dirt bike here.
