Hello all,

I found this site while searching around for KX250 trail riding mods....very cool website! Thanks to all that keep it running. Here is a pic of my 2000 KX250:



As you can tell I haven't ridden it very much, but I'm hoping to change that very soon. I actually took this picture to put it in Cycle Trader, but once I cleaned it up...I just had to keep it. Plus, the resale value wasn't nearly what I hoped it would be. Which is good, or else the bike would be gone. Now I'm stoked to finally ride it...a lot.

My KX is bone stock except for a skid plate (not in pic), 9oz FWW, and FMF Silencer/SA. The bike is an absolute blast to ride...as I'm sure others on this site will agree. I'm hoping to do some modifications so I can take it out trailriding with my friends who recently got back into the sport. Next on the list is a radiator guard, ProTaper SE handlebars, bark busters, and maybe some new tires....I think that is all my wallet can handle for now.  :-D

Anyways..just saying hello. Keep it on two wheels.

Amazing looking KX250. Sounds like you are on the right track with woods mods. I will suggest getting the suspension dialed in for trail riding vs MX.
