FMF OR PRO CIRCUIT ???

Couldnt pass up the deal on the stock pipe for $40.00 , i will try it out and see . If all else fails i think i will go with the pro circuit pipe .

FPMXer:
Just my $.02 about pipes on the 250's is they really don't need a pipe other than bling or you damage the stocker. I have ridden 250's with the stock pipe and it's good enough for me. Just like my 450, I don't see the need for an aftermarket pipe unless I damage the stocker beyond it's normal usage. But people all have their opinions about pipes. This is mine. I also would have opted for the stocker over aftermarket with the price.

I tend to agree with most of the comments, in most cases there are modest HP increases, however, as with porting It is my opinion that you do these mods to move the powerband, for example a beginner would like more bottom end whereas a pro would rather have mid up powerband. The manuf build a quasi all around powerband typically not awesome anywhere but good everywhere. Pipes and porting can move the powerband to the awesome level for a given range. So ya they do add the bling factor but also can contribute to a better running bike.
