This has nothing to do with bikes, but who better to ask than my KX500 friends?I  dont know any thing about scanners/copiers/printers and want to get one and get a discount at wal-mart,so thats where I plan on buying. My question is it a good idea to get combiation one,or buy a copier, scanner, printer separately.I was looking at a HP that combines all three.Any opinons? Thanks.

gwcrim:
What will you primarily be using it for and how much?

I'm a computer guy by trade and I have installed quite a few of the all in one HP devices.  They work ok as long you are satisfied with the quality.  I do not recommend networking them for use between multiple computers.  What model are you looking at?  I have used most of the small business/ home office models.

mikesmith:
Sorry for the late reply, but I had to go to the store to write down the model #s.Im new to computers, only bought one a year and a hailf ago to get more info on dirt biking, and to see what was so great about them(when I was in school calculators were the new thing!)I just want to be able to print info from sites such as this one, make small amounts of copys, and I dont have a digital camera(thinking of getting one) but to be able to print my own pictures, post pictures (such as in the gallery section),or copy pictures off the web, ect.,just fun things for at home use.I dont want to spend to much and heres what Im looking at-HP psc 1210v,HP psc 2110,Lenmark x1150, Leximark x125,Lexmark x515,and this was a little more a HP psc 2175v.I know you get what you pay for,but Im saving for the Ty Davis tank,so around $100.00 or a little more is my budget.Any advise is great,Thanks.

From my own personal experience, I would avoid the Lexmarks. They are very cheaply built. I have an HP but it is a printer only. I have had it for 3 years and never had a problem with it. In fact my entire computer is HP. When it comes time to upgrade I will probably look at HP again.
