KXcam22:
I run the dual stage boysens in my bike. Very happpy with them and the extra low end power.  The V force do make more low end power, but then cost quite a bit more.  The boysen dual-stage reeds are a great low-cost alternative to the V force. Cam.

kx_rider53:
I also run the boysen reeds, the pro series. They added a little more bottom and smoothed the throttle out.

chap:
I am thinking i am going to go with the boysen reeds, for about a hundred bucks less i think they r the better deal. Thanks for the input gents

bones454:
also the ferther away your timing is BTDC the more low end power you can pull

how do you retard the timing for woods riding?do you use a timing light what is the process and were do you want the timing?

KDXGarage:
SSMOKEM, which brand skid plate did you buy?  Do you have a glide plate or a skid plate?  I recently bought a new 2005 KX250, and I am looking at some options on various woods related products.

Has anyone seen any guards for the upper fork tubes?
