KDXGarage:
Hi.  Thanks for the website.  I recently purchased a seized 1992 KX125, and I may need some info at some point, so I thought I would sign up.  I have a few KDX's (hence the user name), so I am familiar with those, but have never owned a KX until last weekend.

Thanks again.

Danger4u2:
Green is good.  As you redo your 125 take pictures and let us know if you have any unusual problems coming apart or going back together.  You know little things like when I worked on my k5 I could not remove the right side case because the weld on the frame by the kicker stuck out about 1/16th and I had to grind it.  Good luck on your project.

Green is good.  Lime green is even better.   :-D

Here's a picture of it.  I bought it from a friend of a friend.  My friend was going to buy it to rebuild, but decided against it since it is in such rough condition.  I bought it with the intention to part it out, because my friend said the other guy said it had a 1998 KX125 engine and exhaust on it.  After I got it home and started looking around on the internet and the buykawasaki.com site, I learned that the engine and exhaust pipe are from a 1992 KX125, but the silencer is some other model.  Right now, I have plans to rebuild it.  That may change as I get further into it.  It already has a ton of problems, but I am hopeful.

Thanks!
