rear sprocket,supermoto re build

 :?hey all you fellow kx riders,can anyone help me with a problem,i have re built my1995 kx500/580 and converted to supermoto,problem is rear wheel is the usual exel/talon  4.25in with a Maxxi goldspeed 150-60-17,i bought a gold 40 tooth solid talon sprocket,with a standard h/d chain,but the chain is ripping the tyre worse than usual....has anybody else encountered this problem ?????????????????        also i wanted to post some pics in the gallery now the beast is 99%finished,i guess being a newbie i cant get access,any help on both problems would be great...thanks guys :-D

I think you have to have more than 30 post to use the gallery.

have you tried maybe a 15 tooth sprocket on the front?

thanks for the gallery info,as for the front sprocket i will try a 15 tomorrow,seeing its dark in england,im looking forward to finding the right sprocket mix for some serious fast road action that will induce nervous laughter as the bfront wheel points to the sky with every gearchange :evil: :evil: :evil:
