new guy from ... romania (where the hell is that?!?!)
duudu:
well i just registered on your forum, cause it seems like kx500 and cr500 riders are a rare and misunderstood breed of riders,
some words about me : I`m a total motorhead, I`m 18 and as you can prolly guess i own and ride a kx500 or kx5 as u call it,
after 7 years of kart racing and a bit of speed bike testing it`s the only thing i can blow some steam on, as i don`t have a drivers licence and we don`t have anything resembling a race track that will take motorbikes or cars, i`ve been riding the big motha` for a year now, just great, till i managed to completely destroy the engine due to catastrophic piston failure.
did a bit of fiddling arround with nitrous , i blew up a cagiva mito with that, and as soon as i get that engine sent to eric-gorr`s and get a light coil for the big green i will post some pics of a 610 cc nitrous injected.... supermoto?
p.s. i can c that kx riders are all overweight, i`m now 93 kg and 183 cm tall, and that has an advantage i`m the only guy that can start the big green,so no wheel locks and such, no one can start it :D

Welcome! We are glad to have you aboard! :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

You have a Cagiva Moto with a blown engine and a spare KX500 engine and it's not occured to you to do this?
Come on old chap, wake up :-D
Notice the length of the kickstart

i did that , however the whole bike vibrates like mad!!! u just have to weld the front mounts of the kx engine, i am looking for a rd 350 or 500 engine, better power curve, more usable power, less vibrations. I had to slow down to 30 km/h for anything not resembling straight road :D that is not my ideea of everyday bike
alan:
I will bet with the corect pipe and flywheel weights you could make it work. :-D
