Ramski:
I live in Cal City. The only places I ride in So Cal is Red Mountain area and occasionaly in Lucerne. I used to like Gorman and still do but will only go there in the middle of the week because of all the city squids on the weekends. Too dangerous. Cal City area get pretty busy too.

I hadn't been to cal city in years until last year , we stayed up about 1 mile south from the prison . We rode north east and got into some awsome canyon's and rock's . I was great !!! The whole ride we would just point in a direction and blast through the bushes , no trails or road's . Just 4 guy's 5 gear tapped through the desert , ONLY TWO THOUGHTS ON OUR MINDS - DON'T FALL AND STAY IN FRONT .... HAHHAHAHA
I'd love to get together for a little tour of the area so I know where to go .....
Ramski:
Come out and race the Cal City GP at the end of April. Pretty cool race that is run in the same area south of the prison.

I live just off Cal City Blvd right before the Golf Course before turning left to go out Randsburg-Mojave road. I've never done any trail riding in the area though. That are is REALLY busy on the weekends. I always stray away from busy riding areas cause I worry about running into people or people running into me.

I live in the "OC" and ride only high desert.
Like Ramski said, too many people at low desert, like Glamis.
I ride only west of Jonson Valley, and south of Kramer Hills.
There is a wedge between Rout 66, and the 15 the is pretty nice to ride.
