Short VIN number

Hi guys!

Maybe you can help me identify my new bike for me, the VIN is KX500E-000215.
I bought it as a 90’ but looks like the engine is a 88’ according to he engine numbers listet here.

I live in Norway so guessing it’s a european bike.
