New to forum but lurked for awhile.  With that said I Just got done building a 2008 250f af conversion and man is this thing totally impractical for the street but holy s**t is it fun as hell!

Used a 2009 acerbis tank for 3.3 gallons capacity and a 2003 kx250 seat. Doing so raised the seat but I'm a big guy and that's what I wanted.

Using a Pantera starter but as of now the cranking RPM seems to be  right on the edge to produce spark with a 250cca battery. I installed a decompressor which helps (310rpm) but is really odd that it does as cranking RPM is slower with less compression.

Running a 15 44 gear and can "cruise" at 5900rpm at 65.

Have 230 mIle clocked and run 93 octane at 40:1 using Amsoil Dominator.

Hi DHouge, welcome to the site. Your bike turned out really nice!  Did you buy the rails or bend them yourself?
