I gotcha...he was a private guy you dealt with.
I can imagine what how much the shipping costs were.
I'm frequently in Corpus Christi, Texas for work related reasons, and have been lookin at property in the area for a 2nd house.
Frankie:
Moving to Texas would be nice.. Im thinking on making Diamond Don's this year, we'll see. I lived in SC for a few years and loved it. Took a job here in Ohio so back dealing with the cold crap. Though, in this area there's no shortages of places to ride. I'm a member of a club called Sandusky Valley Riders, has a MX track, kids MX track, grass track and trails. About 20 mins from the house, you pay your yearly dues and can ride when every you like at no cost.
What Kawasaki are you riding?
Foxx4Beaver:
It wouldn't be a permanent move, just a small 2nd home along the outskirts of Corpus. My main residence is Plymouth, MA. Sounds like you got some good riding areas. I'm still fortunate to be able to ride right out my back door, and have miles of trails and several sand pits and homemade tracks to ride on.
I've got a '95 K5 that I've had since June of 2011...and a '00 250 that I restored in early 2013.
Frankie:
Nice.. Both are great bikes and look great. Good job! And awesome you can ride right out of the house, I could do that about 40 years ago! I love trail riding and don't do enough of it. Thinking about entering a couple Family Enduro's just for the giggles.
Not many trails in my area here in Ohio. Of course if you drive a few hours north into my old home town state of Michigan it's just filled with trails. Out there in the New England area you are also blessed with no shortage of trail riding, though I have yet to make it out that way.
Was also considering picking up clean KDX200 for poking around in the woods.
Foxx4Beaver:
Yeah there's tons of trails out here...
There's a town about 45mins southwest of me called Freetown, and they've been holding major enduro races out there since I can remember. Lots of tight woods and water/mud hole crossings.
I'd love to pick up a KDX200 at some point to.
