I got the suspension today, the forks measure approximately 55.10 at the top and approximately 59.35 at the lower part where it looks like the clamps were fixed, the digital measure used is a Bluepoint one so should be fairly good, obviously I do not have original RMZ clamps etc to be 100% precise.

Oscar did PM me and said  "The top clamp will accommodate a fork with an outer diameter of 54mm and the lower clamp will accommodate a 59mm outer diameter" so I think it is looking promising, just waiting for confirmation and will get a plan put together after 👌🏻

Showa said they are same size on the bottom but 1mm bigger on the top, not a problem just need to get the top one bored / skimmed, so the clamps have definitely got to be purchased, build is going to be an expensive but worth it one, I know the guy that built Dave Thorpes 1990 KX 500 SR alloy tank (standard and the famous oversized "April 1st ?" one) so may need to drag him out of retirement too 👍🏼
